Nick Dillinger

Nick Dillinger enters his second season as an assistant coach at Wyoming with the 2017-18 campaign. Dillinger arrived at UW after a successful swimming career at the University of Cal. After three seasons competing for the Bears, Dillinger served as an undergraduate assistant during the 2015-16 season and helped the Bears to a second-place finish at the NCAA Championships

Dillinger competed in the 50m, 100m and 200m freestyle as well as the 200m and 400m freestyle relay at the 2015 Pac-12 Championships. In 2013, he earned All-American honors as a member of the 200m freestyle relay team with a time of 1:16.79. As a true freshman, Dillinger had the team's third-best time in the 50m freestyle (20.20) during the first half of the 2012-13 season, set Nov. 30 at the Georgia Fall Invitational.

A native of Gillette, Wyo., Dillinger competed for the Gillette Swim Team and became the Junior National Champion in the 50m freestyle. At Gillette High School, he was a six-time individual and six-time relay state champion. Dillinger was also 12-time High School All-American selection, an Academic All-American, a three-time Wyoming Male Swimmer of the Year, a two-time Male Swimmer of the State Meet, and captained Gillette’s state championship team.

Dillinger is currently a student in the University of Wyoming’s College of Law.
