Shannon Addington is entering her second year as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Wyoming. She works with the soccer and cheer teams.
Addington arrived in Laramie following a one-year fellowship as an athletic trainer at the University of Michigan. Her time in Ann Arbor entailed her working with the swim & dive and water polo teams.
Addington attained her master’s degree in athletic training from Northern Arizona University in 2022. Part of her education entailed working at the Air Force Academy with the football and gymnastics teams.
Addington earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Arizona in 2020. Her time in Tucson involved her working as an athletic training technician with the volleyball and beach volleyball teams. Â
Addington hails from Sierra Vista, Arizona.
