University of Wyoming Athletics

Cody Moon is entering his third year as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Wyoming. He works with the swim & dive team.

Moon arrived at Wyoming after a brief stint as an athletic trainer at Premier Bone and Joint in Laramie. Before that he was an athletic trainer at Salina Regional Orthopedic Center in Salina, Kansas, from 2020-22.

Moon attained his master’s degree in allied sport sciences from Northwest Missouri State University in 2020. His time in Maryville entailed working with the football and softball teams.

Moon earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Fort Hays State University in 2018. In his time in Hays, he helped with all 17 sports.

Moon is a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). He’s also Dry Needle Certified.

Moon hails from Clay Center, Kansas.
