Summary

Biography

2022-23: Foster appeared in 17 games with three starts. He averaged 4.8 points per game to go along with 2.4 rebounds per game. He shot 55 percent from the field for the season and 30 percent from behind the arc. Foster scored in double-figures twice with a season-high 14 points coming against Texas A&M Commerce. He added 12 points against Louisiana Tech. He went 4-of-5 from the field for nine points against Santa Clara.

2021-22: Foster appeared in nine games during the season struggling with injuries. He averaged 1.8 points per game and 2.7 rebounds in 10.7 minutes of action per game. He scored a season-high eight points in a win over South Florida.

2020-21: Foster appeared in 17 games with 12 starts, but did miss time during conference play with an injury. He added 9.1 points per game for the season with 3.6 rebounds per game. He shot 42 percent from behind the arc and 46 percent from the field. He recorded a career-high 21 points against Incarnate Word and added 19 points in a road win at Oregon State the following game for the two highest scoring games of his career. After those two contests, Foster was named the Mountain West Player of the Week. He scored in double-figures in six games for the Brown and Gold.

2019-20: Foster was a key part of the Cowboy rotation as a true freshman. He appeared in 32 games for the Cowboys averaging 20 minutes per game. He also started six contests for the Pokes. He finished the season averaging 4.2 points per game to go along with 2.5 rebounds per game and 1.1 assists per night. He shot 34 percent from the field for the season and 24 percent from behind the arc. He scored in double-figures five times during the season. He scored a career-high 18 points for the Pokes in the semifinals of the MW Championship. He hit a career-high four three pointers in the contest. He grabbed a career-high eight rebounds and added 11 points in a contest against Nebraska Wesleyan. 

High School: Kenny Foster was named Gatorade Colorado Player of the Year. He was also  a finalist for the prestigious Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year.  The 6-5, 195-pound senior guard averaged 27.1 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 steals per game this past season, leading the Buffaloes to the Class 5A state quarterfinals. He scored 30 points in his final contest for Smoky Hill. A four-time member of the All-Centennial League First Team, Foster was a Second Team All-State selection as a junior. He concluded his prep basketball career with 1,784 points. He  also excelled in the classroom, as Foster maintained a weighted 4.26 GPA. He also spends time as a youth basketball coach and a peer math tutor.
