Biography

UW This Season: Ryan Cummings was a key cog on the Wyoming offensive line last season until an injury. He will look to get back to form after sitting out spring drills.
2016: Ryan Cummings was a veteran leader on the Wyoming offensive line. He helped pave the way for Brian Hill and also helped Josh Allen throw for over 3,000 yards. His season was cut short due to injury.
2015: Cummings continued to be one of the staples of the Cowboy offensive line starting all 12 games. He helped pave the way for running back Brian Hill, who was the nation’s ninth leading rusher. 
2014: Cummings played in and started seven games for the Cowboys in his true freshman season. He made the first start of his career at Hawai’i helping the UW offense rack up 322 yards of offense. He help the Cowboy offense record 694 yards of total offense against Fresno State, which included a season-high 374 rushing yards. 
High School: Cummings helped lead Valor Christian to the 2013 Colorado Class 5A state championship, culminating in a 56-16 win in the title game over Boulder Fairview. Class 5A is the largest classification in the state of Colorado. Valor Christian concluded the season with a 13-1 record. They were ranked as the No. 1 team in the state of Colorado and the No. 24 best high school team in the nation by MaxPreps.com. Cummings was part of a Valor Christian offense that led the state in scoring, averaging 47 points per game. A starter at right guard in 2013, Cummings and his offensive line mates helped pave the way for Colorado Player of the Year Christian McCaffrey (RB) and the Valor offense to rush for 3,177 yards, 49 touchdowns and an 8.2-yard average per carry entering the state championship game, while allowing only nine quarterback sacks. His head coach at Valor Christian was Rod Sherman.
Personal: Born April 19, 1996, he is the son of Lonnie Cummings and Elizabeth Locken. He has two siblings, Austin and Raena. He was also recruited by Colorado State, Colorado, Indiana State and Northern Colorado. He is majoring in communication at UW.
