Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography UW This Season: Nicholas Cipriano walked on to the UW football team in 2011 and redshirted his freshman season. 2011: Redshirted. High School: Cipriano was a two-sport star at Norwich Free Academy, lettering in both wrestling and football. His senior season of football he helped lead Norwich to the ECC Large Division Championship with a 10-0 regular season record. He also helped the team to the state semifinals and an 11-1 record. He finished the season with 40 tackles and eight sacks. Cipriano was also an excellent wrestler at Norwich, earning All-Region, All-State and All-American. His senior year he won his second-consecutive ECC Championship. He also placed sixth at the Connecticut State Open and second at the Class LL Connecticut Championships. Cipriano left Norwich as the winningest wrestler in school history with 133 total wins and 98 dual meet wins. He also excelled during his junior year winning an ECC Championship and taking runner-up at the Class LL Connecticut State Championship. Cirpiano also found success in the classroom. He was a four-year honor roll student and a two-time Academic All-American.Personal: He is the son of Frank and Janice Cipriano and was born July 29, 1993. He plans to major in social studies education while at UW.
