TRACK AND FIELD:

2017-18: During the indoor season, ran a season-best 800m time of 1:55.32 at the CU Invitational to place 17th… Had a season-best mile time of 4:38.35 at the Potts Invitational to finish 19th… Was a part of the 4x400m relay team that placed fourth at the Powder River dual with a time of 3:28.46… Ran on the 4x800m relay team that placed first at the Power Meet with a time of 8:02.79… Placed 15^th in the 800m at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with a time of 1:57.10… Ran a season-best 800m time of 1:55.00 at the 7220 Invite to place sixth.

2016-17: Competed on the Cowboys’ Distance Medley Relay team that posted the No. 10 UW all-time mark with a time of 10:07.00 at the MW indoor championships…indoors, competed in the 800 meters at five meets…outdoors, competed in the 800 meters at seven meets… clocked a PR of 1:53.45 in a dual meet at Colorado State, taking second…finished 12^th in the event at the MW outdoor championships.

2015-16: Was a part of a Distance Medley Relay team that posted the No. 10 UW all-time mark, 10:07.42, to finish fifth at the MW indoor championships…indoors, posted his season-best time in the 800-meter run at the MW indoor championships, 1:54.18, to finish 12^th…was part of UW’s sixth-place 4x400-meter relay team at the MW indoor championships…placed third in the 800 meters at the Fum McGraw Invitational…posted his best 800-meter time of the outdoor season at the Utah Spring Classic on April 9, finishing in 1:53.72...placed 16^th in the 800 meters at the MW outdoor championships.

2016-17: Competed at the Colorado State Invite, taking 132^nd place overall in the 5K race.

2015-16: Redshirted...did not compete during the cross country season.

Before Wyoming: Competed for Ben Montoya at Fort-Carson High School during his prep career...earned all-conference track and field honors three times...helped his team win a 5A state team title as a senior and a junior....also helped the school's 4x400-meter relay win a state title as a senior...owned personal bests of 49.3 in the 400 meters and 1:54 in the 800 meters...in the classroom earned high honors in math and history.

Personal: Son of Deborah Pina-Thomas and Phillip Thomas...born Dec. 27, 1996...has four brothers: Paul, James, Jonathan and Brandon and three sisters: Tatyana, Tanisha and Tiffany...majoring in finance at UW.
