High School: A graduate of Thunder Basin High School in Gillette, Wyo., Jones finished 18th overall in the WHSAA State Cross Country Championship in the 4A division. Before attending Thunder Basin, Jones went to Moorcroft High School where she sat atop the State 2A cross country podium in her junior year. Mallory was teammates with Megan Doherty in her time at Thunder Basin.
