Before Wyoming: A four-year letterwinner in track & field and three-year letterwinner in cross country under Gary Weston at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colo., where she was the cross country team MVP her junior and senior years as well as team captain her senior year…received academic all-conference honors all four years…posted personal records of 2:24 in the 800 meters, 5:19 in the 1,600 meters, and 11:11 in the 3,200 meters…made the honor roll and was involved in a number of activities at school and in the community, including National Honor Society, German Club, Colorado Springs Rescue Mission, Kids on Bikes and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Personal: The daughter of Patrick and Sara…both of her parents competed in cross country at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh…has a sister, Megan, and a brother, Caleb…intends to major in chemical engineering at UW.
