Delaney was promoted to Director of Academic Services in January 2024, overseeing all Wyoming sports teams through the Office of Academic Support. In conjunction with her Director role, Delaney serves as academic coordinator for Football. 

Delaney began working at Wyoming Athletics as a Football Academic Intern in Fall 2020. She then served as an Academic Coordinator for Football and Women’s Soccer and OAS Internship Coordinator from January 2022 to December 2023. 
As an Academic Coordinator for Football, Delaney assisted the team in maintaining athletic eligibility and reaching competitively high team GPAs. During the 2022 and 2023 school years, Delaney supported more than 30 football student-athletes in attaining Academic All-District and/or Academic All-Mountain West honors. 

As the Academic Coordinator for Women’s Soccer, Delaney aided the team in earning their two highest team GPAs in program history during the 2022 and 2023 school years. In 2022, Delaney supported Women’s Soccer in earning the highest APR score amongst all teams while 17 Cowgirl soccer members received Academic All-Mountain West honors.

While juggling athletic academic coordinating and full-time graduate student enrollment in the Higher Education Administration Master's 2-year program, Delaney graduated cum laude in Fall of 2023. Prior to earning her M.A., Delaney received her Bachelors in American Studies (2021) and Associates in Secondary Education Teaching (2020).

Delaney is a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Co-Advisor, and a Football Student-Athlete Academic Success (summer bridge) instructor. Delaney serves on the committees for 7220 Excellence Student-Development, UW Athletics DEI, and BRAND internal professional development programs. Beyond Wyoming’s campus, Delaney is a member of Women Leaders in College Sports and N4A.

Outside of the office, Delaney enjoys hiking, snowboarding and traveling!
