Calling all young Wyoming artists! Show us what Cowboy Football means to you in our UW Football Art Contest! Children in 6th grade and younger are invited to create an original piece of artwork inspired by Wyoming Cowboy Football. Six winning artists will receive a cash prize, tickets to a Wyoming Football home game, Wyoming swag, and the opportunity to be recognized on the field during the game.
PRIZES
6 winners will be chosen, and each winner will receive the following:
- $100 cash prize
- Up to 6 tickets to a 2026 Wyoming Football home game
- Honored on the field during the game as a contest winner
- Wyoming swag bag
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Want to show off your Cowboy Football spirit? Here's how to enter the UW Football Art Contest:
1. Create Your Artwork
Create an original piece of artwork inspired by Wyoming Cowboy Football. It could feature your favorite player, Pistol Pete, game day traditions, War Memorial Stadium, Cowboy Joe, or anything else that reminds you of Cowboy Football!
2. Complete the Entry Form
A parent or guardian must complete the online entry form with their contact information and the child's information.
3. Upload Your Artwork
Take a clear photo of the completed artwork and upload it through the online entry form.
4. Submit the Form
Make sure all required fields are completed and submit your entry by August 21, 2026.
5. Wait for Contact
Winners will be selected after judging and contacted directly. Winning artists will also be recognized during a selected University of Wyoming Football home game.
CONTEST RULES
To ensure a fair and fun experience, please review the official contest rules before submitting an entry:
Eligibility
- Contest is open to children in 6th grade and younger.
- Only one entry per child is permitted.
- Artwork must be the child's original work and completed without assistance from an adult.
- Previous UW Football Art Contest winners are not eligible to win again.
Artwork Requirements
- Artwork must be inspired by Wyoming Cowboy Football.
- Entries may be a drawing, painting, coloring, collage, or other two-dimensional artwork.
- A photo of the artwork must be uploaded through the official online entry form.
Parent/Guardian Requirements
- Parent or guardian must complete and submit the online entry form.
- Parent or guardian must provide accurate contact information.
Selection Process
- Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, and overall presentation.
- Selection is made by UniWyo Credit Union and University of Wyoming Athletics representatives.
- Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
