Hometown Biography Summary Biography Junior (2015-16): Uselmann finished third in the 100 fly with a time of 59.28 against Border War rival Colorado State. In early December, she took fifth in the 100 fly (59.04) and sixth in the 50 free (24.50) against Denver. She then placed second in the 50 free (24.53) and fifth in the 100 fly (58.78) in the double-dual with Air Force and NAU. Uselmann was also a key part in helping UW come away with it’s first-ever victory against a Pac-12 opponent, as she finished fourth in the 100 fly (58.60) and fifth in the 50 free (24.36). Uselmann recorded a 23.81 in the 50 free, a 56.57 in the 100 fly and 51.88 in the 100 free at the MW Championships. Sophomore (2014-15): Uselmann saw limited action for the Cowgirls as a sophomore. She was on the 200 freestyle relay team that won against New Mexico State. Against Border War rival, Uselmann finished fifth in the 50 freestyle with a season-best time of 24.72. Freshman (2013-14): Uselmann appeared in six meets in her first season with the Cowgirls. She swam a season-best time of 24.16 in the 50 freestyle in a dual against UNLV and Nevada. In that same meet she swam season-bests in the 100 butterfly at 58.25 and the 100 freestyle at 53.00. Her best finish of the season was a third-place finish against UIC with a time of 24.44. High School: Uselmann joins the Cowgirls from St. Peter's Lutheran College in Brisbane, Australia and before that Service High School in Anchorage, Alaska. During her senior year, she qualified for the Junior Australian Nationals and was a two-time state champion in the 50 freestyle in Alaska. She was awarded the Most Valuable Swimmer for the years 2010, 2011 and 2012. In the classroom, Uselmann had a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and was a member of the National Honor Society. Personal: She was born June, 23, 1995 and is the daughter of Charles and Heidi Uselmann. She has one sister, Leah and plans to major in chemical engineering while at UW. She was also recruited by Colorado State, St. Cloud State, Colorado School of Mines and University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
