Competing at 63 KG, Turner also went 4-1 on way to a runner-up finish at the UWW Junior Nationals to qualify for the United State UWW Junior World Team Trials. High School: Turner won three-straight state championships. He became the 100th wrestler from the state of Colorado to accomplish that feat. Turner won a state title this past season at 138 pounds after winning the crown at 132 pounds in 2015 and 120 pounds in 2014. Turner was also seen as one of the top wrestlers in the nation being ranked 16th at 138 pounds by Intermat Wrestlling. He went 41-2 during his senior season on his way to being named The Colorado Springs Gazette Lower Weights Wrestler of the Year. Turner also had an impressive record his junior season posting a 33-1 mark. Personal: Turner was born in Tacoma, Wash., and is the son of Steve and Jeane Turner.
