2017-18: Went 19-12 overall with five pins and three major decisions as a sophomore, competing at 125 pounds … Represented the Cowboys at the Big 12 Championships, going 1-2 with a win over Iowa State’s Sinjin Briggs … Recorded his lone ranked win of the year in a 16-7 major decision over No. 27 Sergio Mendez of CSU Bakersfield … Went 2-1 at the Cowboy Open to finish third … Also finished third at the UNK Open, recording two falls and a major decision with a fall over Chadron State’s Chance Karst in the third-place match … Went 3-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions.

2016-17: Foster redshirted during the 2016-17 season but did compete in the UNC Open. He finished with a 3-2 record that included a fall and major decision. Foster also took part in the UWW Junior Nationals this past April. He compiled a 3-2 record competing at 60 KG.

2015-16: Foster made his way into Wyoming’s lineup beginning against Oregon State in January. Before that he won the Cowboy Open and UNK Holiday Inn Open at 133 pounds. The true freshman went 3-4 in duals and was 4-4 against members of the Big 12 before the Championships. His biggest win came against Brance Simms of South Dakota State with a 9-4 decision. 

High School: Foster is a graduate of Post Falls High School in Post Falls, Idaho. He is a three-time Idaho state champion. As a senior, he won the state title at 126 pounds and help lead Pst Falls High School to a team title. As a junior , he was the state runner-up at 126 pounds and finished with a mark of 45-2. Foster went 42-3 and captured the Idaho state 5A championship at 106 pounds as a freshman and won state as a sophomore. He also placed in the 2012 Cadet Nationals in Fargo, N.D., where he took sixth in freestyle and second in Greco Roman. He followed that up with a third-place finish in freestyle and was fifth in Greco-Roman at the 2013 Cadet nationals. 

Personal: He was born on June 1, 1997. He is the son of Todd and Annie and has one younger sister Cierra. Foster plans on majoring in business at UW.
