Senior (2018-2019)
Started every game this season and averaged 3.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while totaling 28 steals and two blocks… shot 49-234 (.366) from the field, 5-21 (.238) from three and 29-49 (.592) from the free throw line… played a season-high 37 minutes against North Texas (11/23/19)… scored a season-high 10 points against Utah State (3/11/19)… tied her career-high with six rebounds against Chadron State (11/7/18)… had at least five assists in nine games, including a season-high six against San Jose State (3/4/19)… was the team’s top assister 11 times and the top stealer 10 times…took nine charges in the defensive end… named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District VII First-Team for the second season in a row and is a second-team Academic All-American.

Junior (2017-18)
Started in 33 games this season...averaged 4.6 points and a team-leading 4.3 assists in 31.7 minutes per contest...shot 53-148 (.358) from the field and 35-42 (.833) from the free throw line...had a season-high nine assists against Utah State (2/7/18)...finished with a season-high 12 points and a career-high six rebounds against Nevada (1/3/18)...led the team in assists 24 times...ranks 12th all-time in school history with 288 career assists.

Sophomore (2016-17) 

Started in all 32 games during her first season...made her first career start against Chadron State (11/11/16)...averaged 6.2 points along with a team-leading 4.5 assists...shot 62-155 (.400) from the field...ranked third in assist/turnover ratio and sixth in assists in MW games...led the team in assists 23 times and steals 12 times...recorded her first double-double of her career with ten points and a career-high ten assists against San Diego State (2/1/17)...scored a career-high 18 points along with seven assists against Chadron State (11/11/16)…an Academic All-Mountain West and Scholar-Athlete selection.

High School

A member of Basket Almeda the past five seasons…helped them to second place finishes in the Copa Catalunya League twice and a fourth place spot in 2015…the team also won a Silver Medal in the Spanish Championship of Clubs….also played for CBF Sarria and Catalonia during her career…her Catalonia Club won a Gold and Bronze medal in the Spanish Championship of Regions, while placing first in 2010 and second twice in the Catalonia Championships.

Full name Clara Tapia…born October 9, 1996 in Barcelona…is the daughter of Ferran Tapia and Montse Palacio…has two siblings, Marti and Guillem…majoring in molecular biology and chemistry.
