LARAMIE, Wyoming (9/7/26) – The University of Wyoming soccer team went a perfect 2-0 on their first substantial road trip of the season. The defense was stout and the offense developed more depth, and contributing factors to both of those areas were honored as Mountain West Conference Players of the Week.

Haley Bartel reeled in Defensive Player of the Week recognition, while Erin Dahl was awarded Offensive Player of the Week. It's Bartel second such honor this season, third of her career, and it's Dahl's first time being recognized.

Bartel logged her third and fourth clean sheets of 2026. She made a season-high seven saves in a 1-0 win at Gonzaga on Thursday and collected another three in a 2-0 victory at Eastern Washington on Sunday. Bartel now has 22 shutouts in her career, three clear of the second best in program history.

Dahl netted a goal for the first time in her career on Sunday. She scored the game's first goal against the Eagles. Dahl is the seventh different Wyoming player to score this season, matching the number of goal scorers from all of last year.

The Pokes remain on the road this week. They travel to Montana on Friday for a 7 p.m. contest at South Campus Stadium.
