COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (9/20/26) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team wrapped up Day 2 of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite on Sunday. The Cowboys shot another 285 (-3) and currently sit with a two-day score of 570 (-6), which positions them in a tie for second in a tournament being played at the Eisenhower – Blue Course.

"It was a solid day," head coach Joe Jensen said. "We're doing good things. We are working hard. We have some things to tidy up and things to improve upon, but we are stacking good days. We are improving our habits."

Colorado has created some separation at first at 558 (-18). It's a log jam for second with the Pokes, Denver and UC Davis all tied, 12 shots behind the lead.

Brody Leid turned it on during his second nine of the second round to fire a Round 2 score of 70 (-2). His final nine holes saw him log three birdies and an eagle. Leid is tied for second in the tournament at 138 (-6), just one shot off the lead held by three different players.

Brody Knowlton shares 16th at 142 (-2) following a strong second-round 70 (-2). He boasted a total of five birdies on Sunday.

Conner Scheich was solid again, firing a second-round 72 (E), and is tied for 23rd at 143 (-1). He had three birdies on the card in Round 2.

Kellen Ball shares 47th at 147 (+3). He registered a 73 (+1) on Sunday. Austin Barry rounded out the Pokes on the Blue Course. He's tied for 72nd at 151 (+7) following a second-round 75 (+3).  

Jack Newton, who's playing in the individual tournament at the Silver Course, shares 17th place. He recorded a Round 2 score of 82 (+10) and is 150 (+6) over two days.

The third and final round begins on Monday at 7:30 a.m.
