FORT COLLINS, Colorado (9/10/26) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team began its 2026-27 season on Thursday at the Ram Masters Invite. The Cowboys are 15th at 590 (+30) following 36 holes at the Fort Collins Country Club.
Brody Leid paced the Pokes. He fired a 141 (+1) and is tied for 11th. Leid kicked off his season with a 71 (+1), which featured a pair of eagles, and wrapped up Day 1 with a 70 (E) that included four birdies.
Austin Barry shares 60th at 149 (+9). Barry was consistent with a first-round score of 74 (+4) and a second-round score of 75 (+5). He holed a total of five birdies on Thursday.
Conner Scheich carded a Day 1 score of 151 (+11), which positions him in a tie for 76th. He too was consistent, opening with a 76 (+6) and closing with a 75 (+5).

Kellen Ball and
Brody Knowlton share 81st place at 152 (+12). Ball shot a Round 1 score of 75 (+5) and a Round 2 score of 77 (+7). Knowlton was the inverse, playing much better in the second round when compared to the first. He carded an opening-round 78 (+8), which included an eagle, and closed with a 74 (+4).
Jack Newton, who's playing as an individual, is 92nd at 156 (+16). He opened with a 76 (+6) and closed with an 80 (+10).
The third and final round takes place on Friday. Teams will tee off at 8 a.m.
