LARAMIE, Wyoming (8/25/26) – The University of Wyoming soccer team is on the road for the next five weeks. The first stop is Thursday at Gonzaga with a Sunday match at Eastern Washington. The competition against the Bulldogs at 5 p.m. can be streamed on YouTube and the tilt against the Eagles at 1 p.m. is on ESPN-Plus.

The Cowgirls — who are 3-2-0 on the season — embark to northeast Washington fresh off a dominating 5-2 victory over South Dakota this past weekend. Both Alyssa Glover and Isabel Vasco boasted braces and Alisa Bunn scored, as well, giving the Pokes six different goal scorers through five contests.

"It was a big win and will set the tone moving forward," Glover said. "We had three different goal scorers, which will really set the tone going forward."

Glover is vaulting up the program's all-time goal scoring list. She's now third with 23 goals – four this season – just two behind the school record. She's also third in all-time points with 56.

As mentioned, Glover has plenty of help in the scoring department. Both Vasco and Maddie Burr have a pair of goals to their name, while Bunn, Brooke Brown and Reese Gould have all scored once this year.

Defensively, Haley Bartel, is her usual stout self in net for the Cowgirls. She's started all five matches and made nine saves with five goals allowed for a GAA of 1.05.

Gonzaga – which is 2-3-1 on the season – has a two-headed scoring attack. Amelia Severn and Samantha Snorsky have five goals apiece.

Sydney Head has started all six matches at goalkeeper for the Bulldogs. She's collected 24 saves with 11 goals surrendered for a GAA of 1.83.

Gonzaga has played a tough schedule. It has consisted of three power-five schools, one of which, No. 11 Washington, they drew, 1-1.

The Bulldogs were picked to finish in a tie for sixth in the PAC 12 Preseason Coaches' Poll. They finished in a tie for fourth in their final year in the West Coast Conference.

Eastern Washington was picked to finish fifth in the Big Sky Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Eagles are 5-0 on the young season and are outscoring their foes by a combined count of 9-1.

Mia Miconi paces the Eagles with three goals. Payton Hyde has started all five matches in net, registering 31 saves with one goal allowed for a GAA of 0.20.

Following the trip to Cheney, the Cowgirls travel to Montana on Sept. 11.
