LARAMIE, Wyoming (8/5/26) – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipients on Wednesday. The University of Wyoming men's golf team was honored with Presidents Special Recognition.

In order to qualify for Presidents Special Recognition, a team must possess an average team GPA of 3.5 higher. A total of 88 Division I squads accomplished that in 2025-26.

The Cowboys have collected the team academic award each of the last 17 years.
