LARAMIE, Wyoming (8/31/26) – The University of Wyoming soccer team showcased its offense this past week with a total of six goals scored. As a result, two Cowgirls were honored as Mountain West Conference Players of the Week.

Alyssa Glover was recognized as the Offensive Player of the Week. Isabel Vasco was named Freshman of the Week.

Glover tallied a total of three goals. She scored against South Carolina on Thursday – her third straight time scoring against a power-five squad – and recorded a brace against South Dakota on Sunday.

Glover is now third all-time in program history with 22 career goals. She's also third in points all-time with 56.

Vasco assisted on Glover's goal against the Gamecocks. Vasco also boasted a brace against the Coyotes and added an assist for a five-point game in what was her first-ever start.

Wyoming takes to the road this week. The Pokes are at Gonzaga on Thursday before traveling to Eastern Washington on Sunday.
