LARAMIE, Wyoming (7/9/26) – The University of Wyoming wrestling team will have representation at the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals. A pair of incoming freshmen will be competing Friday through Wednesday inside the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota.

Austin Collins (150) and Sammy Sanchez (126) are set to participate. Both will compete in Freestyle and Greco-Roman. The Freestyle bracket gets underway on Friday, while the Greco-Roman bracket kicks off on Tuesday.

Collins is from Wray, Colorado. He was a three-time Colorado state champion and a four-time state finalist.

Sanchez is from Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was a Wyoming state champion this past season, while also having a pair of runner-up finishes and a fourth-place finish to his name.
