LARAMIE, Wyoming (6/16/26) – College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District honorees on Tuesday. A trio of University of Wyoming wrestlers were honored.
Sefton Douglass (125),
Jared Hill (157) and
Riley Davis (174) reeled in the award. In order to qualify, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or older, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have competed in at least 75 percent of the team's competition or the conference championships.
Douglass was a starter who compiled a 7-15 record. He competed at the Big 12 Championships.
Hill was a starter who owned an 11-12 record with half a dozen dual victories and one ranked win. He also competed at the Big 12 Championships and took eighth.
Davis was an NCAA qualifier who went 12-12 with three ranked victories. He placed sixth at Big 12s after going in unseeded and won a match at the NCAA Championships.
