Prigge Announces Four Transfer Signees

LARAMIE, Wyo. (May 30, 2026) – Wyoming Cowgirl Head Volleyball Coach Kaylee Prigge has announced the signings of a quartet of transfer student-athletes who will be joining the Cowgirls this fall for the 2026 season. Kristina Bozovic, Peyton Carruth, Anna Melgren and Senna Roberts-Navarro will all be joining UW.

Bozovic is a 6-2 opposite side hitter from Montenegro. Bozovic, who played club volleyball in Finland with LP-Vampula, was named the Most Valuable Player and Best Opposite Hitter at the European Schools Championship. She was also named team captain of her Euros squad. Bozovic was named the Sportswoman of the Year and Player of the Country in Montenegro in 2023. Bozovic played with the senior national team of Montenegro in the CEV Golden League.

Carruth, who is a native of Casper and is the younger sister of former Cowgirl Corin Carruth, spent this past season at Casper College. Carruth did it all at Casper and led the T-Birds with 479 kills (3.68 per set), 565 points (4.3 a set) and 58 service aces while finishing second on the squad with 437 digs. Carruth was named a Second Team NJCAA All-America and the Region IX Player of the Year, while leading the T-Birds to the NJCAA National Tournament.

Melgren, a 5-8 libero who is a native of Friendswood, Texas, spent her freshman season at Houston Christian. Melgren appeared in 99 of a possible 101 sets with the Huskies in 2025 and was second on the team averaging 2.61 digs per set and tallying 258 digs in total. She was also second on the team with 26 service aces last season. Melgren was a three-year starter in her prep career at Friendswood HS and averaged 5.3 digs per set as a senior on her way to Academic All-District and All-State honors.

Roberts-Navarro is a 5-11 outside hitter from Honolulu, Hawai'i and spent her first three seasons at Seton Hall. At Seton Hall, Roberts-Navarro appeared in 54 matches and tallied 378 kills. This past season, she made seven starts in nine matches and was averaging 2.53 kills per set before her season was cut short due to injury. In 2024, Roberts-Navarro was second on the team with 210 kills while her 2.75 kills per set ranked 17th in the Big East. In her prep career, Roberts-Navarro was the 2022 Volleyball Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Hawai'i.
