AZUSA, LONG BEACH & WALNUT, Calif. (April 18, 2026) – Wyoming track and field closed its weekend in California with six personal bests and three Top 10 program times across the Bryan Clay Invitational, Beach Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays, Saturday.
COWGIRLS
Freshman
Desirae Iacovetto finished with a time of 14.91 in the 100-meter hurdles for 41st overall.
In the 400-meter dash invitational, sophomore
Eva Dellorco finished first for Wyoming with a personal best time. She crossed the line first in heat three with a time of 54.76 and took 11th overall. Junior
Gabbreiella Mendoza-Molina would finish 24th overall with a time of 56.46, a season best.
Senior
Libby Berryhill returned to action, this time at the Beach Invite. She crossed the line second with a time of 2:11.85 in the 800 meters. Sophomore
Hanan Aldelemy finished right behind her with a time of 2:12.75 for third while sophomore
Julia Rudolph took eighth at 2:15.63.
Sophomore
Carly Norman competed in the 400-meter hurdles and finished 19th, making her way around the track in 1:01.65, a personal best.
Dellorco led the way again for the Cowgirls with her 16th-place finish in the 200 meters at 24.54. She was followed by sophomore
Madeline Thorne with a time of 24.64 for 19th.
On the field side of the Beach Invite, sophomore
Koi Adderley competed in the high jump invite. She would finish 14th with a clearance of 1.61 meters before bowing out at the 1.66-meter mark.
Adderley would also lead the Cowgirls in the long jump. She finished in a tie for fifth with a jump of 5.98 meters, a personal best and No. 10 in outdoor program history. Senior
Elayna Chafee finished tied for 11th with her best jump landing at 5.69 meters, a season best on her first leap.
Chafee followed up her long jump performance with a seventh-place finish in the triple jump. Her best jump, coming on her fourth attempt, landed at 11.81 meters. This is good for the new No. 10 mark in Wyoming outdoor history.
Freshman
Jade West took on the shot put invitational at the Bryan Clay Invitational and finished with a put of 12.57 meters for 12th.
Wyoming's weekend ended with sophomore
Muriel Jones running in heat three of the 1,500 meters open "A" section. She would cross the line fifth in the heat and 24th overall with a time of 4:27.52, a personal best.
COWBOYS
The first event to finish for Wyoming at the Beach Invitational was the 4x100-meter relay. Freshman
Ryan Elsen, junior
Gavin Cougle, sophomore
Bridger Norton and senior
Carter McComb, who previously smashed the school record, placed fourth with a time of 40.80.
Four Cowboys ran in the 400-meter invitational section. In heat two, freshman
Jackson Aydelott took seventh, 12th overall, with a time of 47.74. Junior
Cody Hape, senior
Darius Wiggins and sophomore
Bradley Ekstrom all ran in heat three. Hape crossed the line at 48.81 for 19th, Wiggins finished in 25th with a time of 49.07 and Ekstrom took 28th at 49.22.
Elsen led Wyoming in the 100-meter invite with a 12th-place time of 10.69. McComb would follow in 28th with his time of 10.91.
Senior
Tristan Knueppel also made his way from Azusa to Long Beach to compete in the 800 meters. He would finish in ninth with a time of 1:56.62.
In the 200 meters, Elsen ran to 13th with a time of 21.33 while Norton took 21st place at 21.55.
Junior
AJ McGloflin was the lone Cowboy in the high jump invite and placed fourth. He would clear a height of 2.07 meters on his last attempt for a season best and T-No. 9 in program outdoor history.
In the long jump, senior
Remar Pitter came in second with a leap of 7.43 meters, his best jump since the Power Meet this indoor season. Sophomore
Christian Edwards would also make the finals and placed sixth with his best jump of 7.15 meters, a personal best.
Sophomore
Quinn Lindsay competed in the discus at the Bryan Clay Invitational. In the discus throw, he finished in third with a personal best distance of 50.70 meters on his sixth and final throw.
At the Mt. SAC Relays, senior
Cam Burkett represented Wyoming in the shot put elite invitational. He finished fifth with his best put landing at 18.30 meters.
Three Pokes ran in the 1,500 meters, two in the open "B" and one in the invite sections. In the "B" section, junior
Aidan Ramsey finished in 79th with a time of 3:53.15 while sophomore
Austin Akers took 103rd among 186 finishers at 3:54.38.
In the invitational, senior
Mac Zastrow finished 12th in heat seven and 135th overall with a time of 3:51.28.
