AZUSA, Calif. (April 17, 2026) – Senior
Ryker Holtzen moved up in the Wyoming outdoor record book as three Cowboys post personal bests on day two of the Bryan Clay Invitational, Friday.
COWBOYS
Sophomore
Nolan Hoffman started Wyoming's day early in the morning. In the 5,000-meter run open "C" section, he would place 11th in heat two with a time of 14:46.38. His time was a personal
best and good for 40th overall in the section.
In the open "B" section of the 5,000 meters, redshirt-freshman
Tanner Brown crossed the line at 14:58.71 for 20th in heat three and 71st overall.
Senior
Mac Zastrow ran a time of 1:51.59 in the 800 meters open "B" section. Finishing with a personal best time, he placed fourth in heat three and seventh overall.
In the open "A" section of the 800 meters, senior
Tristan Knueppel ran to 93rd with a time of 1:55.42, a season best.
Junior
Aidan Ramsey ran a time of 14:25.21 in the 5,000-meter open "A" section. He placed 15th in heat one and 82nd overall.
In heat one of the invitational 5,000 meters, senior
Jacob White crossed the line 22nd with a time of 13:43.97. As the 14th-best collegiate finisher, he ran a season-best time.
Senior
Ryker Holtzen closed the night with one of the better performances of the week so far. In the 5,000-meter invitational heat two, he finished 12th with a personal-best time of 13:38.40. His time became No. 2 in program outdoor history, improving on his previous outdoor best of 13:48.85.
COWGIRLS
Three Cowgirls ran in the 800-meter open "A" section. Senior
Libby Berryhill led the way with a time of 2:11.60. She placed fourth in heat one and 51st overall. Also in heat one, sophomore
Hanan Aldelemy crossed the line sixth in the heat with a time of 2:12.35, good for 67th in the section. Finally, sophomore
Julia Rudolph finished at 2:11.74 for 54th overall and sixth in heat four.
In the 5,000-meter open "A" section, junior
Hailey Uhre placed ninth overall, fifth in heat four, crossing the line at 16:26.98, a season best and two seconds off her personal best. Freshman
Claire Engelhardt ran to third in heat one and 44th overall with a time of 16:52.63 in her first collegiate 5,000 meters.
