FORT COLLINS, Colo. (April 16, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowgirls closed the regular season with a 4-1 loss at Colorado State Thursday. With the loss, the Cowgirls are locked into the No. 8 seed at next week's Mountain West Tennis Championships.

Madlena Orlova tallied the Cowgirls' lone win on the day, taking a straight-set victory at the No. 4 singles spot. Orlova won 6-3 and 6-4. Two Cowgirls, Violetta Borodina and Serina Abriola were leading in their singles matches but went unfinished as CSU clinched the match.

Wyoming will play at 2 p.m., Mountain Time Wednesday, April 22 in the opening round of the MW Tournament.
