The Wyoming distance crew, along with a few throwers, compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational. This three-day meet is the fastest and largest meet in the U.S. and has seen several Pokes bring home personal bests over the years. The Beach Invitational will hold the team's sprinters and jumpers, as well as a few more distance runners in the 800 meters. Lastly, senior Cam Burkett will be the lone Wyoming competitor at the Mt. SAC Relays when he throws in the elite invitational shot put event.

LAST TIME OUT
Wyoming had another long week due to the weather when they competed at Colorado School of Mines for the Mines Midweek & Multis and Mines Kit Mayer Classic. The week was highlighted by the men's 4x100-meter relay of freshman Ryan Elsen, senior Carter McComb, junior Gavin Cougle and sophomore Bridger Norton breaking the school record with a time of 40.12, smashing the former record of 40.54 set in 2000.

Freshman Desirae stood out in her first collegiate heptathlon when she placed fourth with a point total of 4,365, the new No. 8 total in school history.

On Saturday, senior Cam Burkett posted a personal best in the shot put at 19.34 meters. This is the No. 4 outdoor mark in Wyoming history and the No. 10 put in the nation this season.
