LARAMIE, Wyo. (April 14, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowgirls close the 2026 regular season with a trip down to Fort Collins to face Colorado State. UW and the Rams will face off at 1 p.m., Thursday. The match was originally scheduled for Friday afternoon but moved up due to incoming weather.

The Cowgirls are coming off a tough 0-2 week last week, losing at San Diego State and at home against Grand Canyon. Wyoming enters the final match of the season currently as the No. 8 seed in next week's Mountain West Championships. If current seeding holds, Wyoming will face New Mexico next Wednesday.

Wyoming won the Doubles Point in both contests last week. Silver Bijlsma and Violetta Borodina both earned singles wins last week, coming against GCU. For the season, Bijlsma is now up to 24 wins overall in 2025-26 and is 15-4 in duals. Borodina, meanwhile, joins Bijlsma and Anastasiia Kochelaevskaia with double-digit wins in 2026 as she improved to 10-5. The duo, who are also doubles partners and are 11-5 in duals, both have team-best six Mountain West singles victories in 2026.

CSU enters the week looking to snap a four-match losing streak. The Rams are 6-15 overall, 2-8 in the league and 3-6 at home this season. Wyoming went 2-0 against Colorado State in 2025.
