LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 22, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowgirls dropped a 4-0 contest on the road Sunday at UNLV in a sweltering Las Vegas.
Although her match went unfinished, Violetta Borodina performed the best for the Cowgirls in singles action at the No. 3 spot. Borodina split her first two sets, 3-6 and 6-4 before UNLV clinched the match with its fourth point.
In doubles, Borodina and her partner, Silver Bijlsma also went unfinished and were tied at 5-5 when the Lady Rebels secured the Doubles Point.
UW returns home next week for a pair of home contests. The Cowgirls host Fresno State at 4 p.m., Friday and San Jose State at 10 a.m., Sunday.
