ATLANTA (March 17, 2026) – Three Cowgirls look to compete on each day of the 2026 NCAA DI women's swimming and diving championships, Wednesday to Saturday, in Atlanta.

The championships return to McAuley Aquatic Center for the third time and first since 2022. The historic aquatic center was originally built to host the 1996 Olympic Games.
Sophomore
Macey Hansen will kick off the championships in her second appearance with the 1,650-yard Freestyle on Wednesday. Hansen enters as the No. 35 swimmer with a seed time of 16:15.41 in the 42-woman field.
Junior
Tara Joyce will start her first of two events on Thursday with the 200-yard Freestyle. With a seed time of 1:44.43, she is the No. 38 in the 48-swimmer field. On Saturday, Joyce will also race in the 100-yard Freestyle, getting one of the last two spots into the championship with a time of 48.56.
Senior
Alicia Gonzalez will have Friday all to herself when she competes in the 3-Meter dive prelims at 8 a.m. MT. Shw will also take on the 1-Meter on Thursday.
Morning sessions each day will begin at 8 a.m. MT, with evening events and finals starting at 4:03 p.m. MT.
The group of Gonzalez, Joyce and Hansen ties the most women Wyoming has sent to the NCAA Championships. The last time three Cowgirls were at NCAAs together was in 2016 when Kari Campbell, Maria Hartujunjan and Emily Ridot competed across swimming and diving events.
