Cowboys Close Home Schedule Hosting Nevada on Tuesday for Senior Day

LARAMIE, Wyo. (March 1, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowboys will close the home portion the schedule with a contest against Nevada on Tuesday at 8 p.m. inside the Arena-Auditorium. Wyoming will honor their three seniors in Matija Belic, Kiani Saxon and Leland Walker prior to the game, as they will play in the final contest in Laramie.
 
A special Fan Appreciation ticket is available, which features a $25 ticket that gives access to both the Cowboy and Cowgirl games. Special concession prices will also be featured on Tuesday with a special $5 combo with a souvenir cup soda along with either a nacho or a hot dog.

Fans can watch, listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network with Keith Kelley on the call and Kevin McKinney on Color.
 
About The Teams
Wyoming heads into the contest with a 16-13 overall record and a 7-11 mark in conference play after defeating Air Force at home on Saturday. The Pokes average 76.8 points per game this season and allow 72.8 per night. Wyoming is averaging only 69.9 points per game in conference play. The Pokes are grabbing 35.6 rebounds per game this season to rank sixth in the conference. The Cowboys are grabbing just over 12 offensive rebounds per game, which leads the MW.  Wyoming is hitting 8.3 three pointers per game for the season and are shooting 32.8 percent from behind the arc.
 
Nevada is 19-10 overall and 11-7 in conference play after falling to in-state rival UNLV by a score of 85-83 in overtime on Saturday. Nevada scores 76 points per game and allows 72 points per game. The Wolf Pack shoot 43.5 percent from the field with opponents shooting 43.5 percent as well. An excellent team taking care of the basketball, Nevada recorded only 10 turnovers per game and defend the rim with 3.9 blocks per game. The Wolf Pack are solid at the line shooting 75 percent for the season with nearly 20 makes per game.
 
About The Players
Wyoming is led in scoring this season by Leland Walker at 14 points per game for ninth in the MW. He also adds a team-high 3.5 assists per game, which ranks eighth in the conference.  Nasir (Naz) Meyer adds 13.1 points per game this season and adds 4.8 rebounds per game for second on the team.  Khaden Bennett adds 10 points per game and owns the team lead with five rebounds per night. Damarion Dennis adds 10.5 points per game for the season and is shooting 51 percent from the field. He is adding 11.4 points per game in conference play.
 
The Wolf Pack are led by Corey Camper Jr. with 17.3 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds. Tayshawn Comer adds 12.2 points per game and has a team-high 108 assists on the season. Elijah Price adds 13 points per game and a team-high 8.9 rebounds per game. He also has 53 blocks on the season to lead the team.
 
About The Series
The Cowboys lead the all-time series against the Wolf Pack 22-12 with the first meeting coming in 1938. The Cowboys are 14-5 all-time against Nevada in Laramie. The Wolf Pack won the first meeting in Reno by a score of 92-82 on Jan. 10.
