BOULDER, Colo.
– Six Wyoming track and field athletes posted top 10 school marks at the Colorado Classic on Saturday at the Ford Practice Facility.
In the men's mile,
Ryker Holtzen finished fifth with a time of 4 minutes, 0.37 seconds, the second fastest time in Cowboy history. Teammate
Jacob White set the UW indoor record (3:58.89) earlier this season.
In the women's mile,
Eowyn Dalbec (4:52.75) finished fourth in the final with the ninth fastest time in program history. Teammate
Muriel Jones (4:53.28) came in fifth and cracked the UW top 10 right behind Dalbec.
In the women's 800 meters final,
Libby Berryhill (2:09.97) finished second with the fourth fastest time in UW history. Cowgirls
Hanan Aldelemy (2:11.99) and
Julia Rudolph (2:12.06) finished sixth and ninth, respectively.
In the men's 200 meters, UW freshmen
Jackson Aydelott (21.56) and
Ryan Elsen (21.60) finished ninth and sophomore
Bridger Norton (21.86) finished in the 9-10-11 spots.
UW will return to action at the Battle Born Classic this coming Friday and Saturday in Reno, Nev.
