LARAMIE, Wyo. (Feb. 5, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowboys welcome the Utah State Aggies, who are tied for first place in the Mountain West Conference to the Arena-Auditorium on Saturday evening for a 6 p.m. start. The contest is a Gold Out as fans are encouraged to Wear Gold. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
 
Special Gold Out tee shirts presented by UniWyo Credit Union will be handed out before the contest while supplies last.
 
Fans can listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network with Keith Kelley on the call and Kevin McKinney on Color.

About The Teams
Wyoming heads into the contest with a 13-10 overall record and a 4-8 mark in conference play after falling on the road at first place San Diego State on Tuesday. The Pokes average 77.6 points per game this season and allow 72.4 per night. Wyoming is averaging only 68.2 points per game in conference play. The Pokes are grabbing 36.8 rebounds per game this season to lead the conference. The Cowboys are grabbing just over 12 offensive rebounds per game, which also leads the MW.  Wyoming ranks fourth in the conference with 17.1 made free throws per game.
 
Utah State is receiving votes in both the Associated Press and Coaches' Poll with a 19-3 overall record and a 10-2 mark in conference play after defeating New Mexico 86-66 on the road on Wednesday. Utah State is shooting 51 percent from the field for first in the MW and No. 15 in the nation. The Aggies average 83.7 points per game to lead the conference. An excellent defensive team, USU adds 9.5 steals per game for first in the conference and No. 15 in the nation.
 
About The Players
Wyoming is led in scoring this season by Leland Walker at 14.9 points per game for ninth in the MW. He also adds a team-high 3.5 assists per game, which ranks sixth in the conference.  Nasir (Naz) Meyer adds 12.2 points per game this season and adds a team-high 4.9 rebounds per game.  Khaden Bennett adds 9.9 points per game and ranks second on the team with 4.7 rebounds per night. He has scored in double-figures in back-to-back games. Damarion Dennis adds 9.2 points per game for the season and is shooting 49 percent from the field.
 
The Aggies are led in scoring by MJ Collins at 184 points per game, which leads the conference. He leads the team with 55 made three-pointers this season. Mason Falslev adds 16 points per game and leads the team with 5.8 rebounds per night. Karson Templin adds 8.7 points per game and 4.5 rebounds. Drake Allen adds five helpers per game to rank first in the MW this season.
 
About The Series
The Cowboys lead the all-time series with Utah State 53-40 with the first meeting coming back in 1926, as the series is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Utah State took the first meeting this season in Logan.
 
Up Next
The Cowboys head south next Saturday to take on Colorado State in the second edition of the Border War. The contest is set for 2 p.m. inside Moby Arena.
