BOSTON & RENO, Nev. (Feb. 12, 2026) – Wyoming track & field will separate for the final meet before indoor conference championships when the distance crew heads to Boston, Mass., for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, and the rest of the team travels to Reno, Nev., for the Battle Born Classic, Friday and Saturday.

Senior
Ryker Holtzen moved to No. 2 in the mile, behind
Jacob White, with a time of 4:00.37. In the women's mile, two Cowgirls, junior
Eowyn Dalbec and sophomore
Muriel Jones, entered the Top 10 at ninth (4:52.75) and 10th (4:53.28), respectively.
Senior
Libby Berryhill and sophomore
Julia Rudolph finished with times of 2:09.97 for No. 4 in program history and 2:12.06 for No. 8 in the 800 meters, respectively.
Freshman
Ryan Elsen entered the record book for the first time with his finish of 21.60 in the 200 meters for T-No. 9 in indoor program history.
On the field, Burkett picked up his third victory with a put of 18.70 meters as all three Cowboys competing (Burkett, LaFore, Lindsay) finished in the Top 4.
