John Michael Gyllenborg has been invited to participate in the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. The NFL released the list of players invited to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine on Wednesday. A total of 319 prospects have been invited to attend this year's event, which will take place in Indianapolis, Ind. from February 23 through March 2.
He is the first Cowboy to be invited since offensive lineman Frank Crum and linebacker Eaton Gibbs participated in 2024.
Gyllenborg finished an outstanding career with the Brown and Gold ending his tenure with the Pokes with 80 receptions for 1,023 yards. He also added seven touchdowns for the Cowboys. Gyllenborg recorded 17 games with three or more receptions in his career.
This past season, Gyllenborg recorded 24 receptions for 217 yards with one touchdown. He added a career-high six receptions in his final career game against Hawai'i. He was named to the John Mackey Award Preseason Watch list twice in his career.
As a junior, he recorded 30 receptions for 425 yards with three touchdowns and earned All-MW honors. He had 23 receptions as a sophomore with three scores. For his career, he averaged 12.8 yards per reception.
He participated in the Senior Bowl in January and helped lead the American team to a 17-9 win. He added a catch in the contest for six yards.
The NFL Scouting Combine will be televised on the NFL Network starting on February 26.
