LARAMIE, Wyoming (1/29/26) – Brody Knowlton paced the University of Wyoming at the Arizona N.I.T. this past week. For his efforts, he was named Mountain West Conference Freshman Golfer of the Week.

Knowlton enjoyed a career-best opening round at Omni Tucson National Resort. He fired a 67 (-5), which included half a dozen birdies. He finished the tournament tied for 18th at 211 (-5) and helped the Cowboys take ninth as a team.

Wyoming is back in action in a couple weeks. The Pokes are set to host the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate from Feb. 23-25 in Palm Desert, California.
