LARAMIE, Wyo. (Jan. 22, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowboys close out their homestand on Saturday afternoon hosting San José State in the Arena-Auditorium at 2 p.m. It is the 29th all-time meeting between the two schools. The game will be streamed on the MW Network.
 
Fans can watch, listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network with Keith Kelley on the call and Kevin McKinney on Color.

About The Teams
Wyoming heads into the contest with a 11-8 overall record and a 2-6 mark in conference play after falling to Boise State on Tuesday at home.  The Pokes are scoring 80.3 points per game for fourth in the conference this season. UW is allowing 72.7 points per night. UW is shooting 47 percent from the field with the opposition shooting 44 percent. UW hits 8.1 triples per game with opponents adding 6.5. Wyoming averages 37.2 rebounds per game to rank second in the conference this season.
 
 San José State is 6-13 overall this season and 1-7 in conference play after falling on the road at Nevada 87-54 on Tuesday. The Spartans average 70.7 points per game and allow 76.2 per night. SJSU shots 43 percent with opponents shoot 49 percent. The Spartans shoot 35 percent from three with the opposition at 37 percent. SJSU grabs 31.2 rebounds per game.
 
About The Players
Wyoming is led in scoring this season by Leland Walker at 15.2 points per game. He also adds a team-high 3.7 assists per game, which ranks fifth in the conference. He had 30 points for a career-high on Tuesday. Nasir (Naz) Meyer adds 13.7 points per game this season and adds 5.2 rebounds per game. He is shooting 40 percent from behind the arc this season. He missed Tuesday's game with an injury. Khaden Bennett adds 9.1 points per game and ranks second on the team with 4.6 rebounds per night. He ranks fifth in the MW shooting over 85 percent from the free throw line. He is second on the team with 52 helpers on the season.
 
The Spartans are led by Colby Garland at 18.9 points per game. He has been out with an injury but is shooting 50 percent from the field this season. Yaphet Moundi adds 12.5 points per game and leads the team this season with 7.6 rebounds. Jermaine Washington adds 11.3 points per game and leads the team with 33 three-pointers.
 
About The Series
The Cowboys lead the all-time series against San José State 22-6 in a series that dates back to 1965. Wyoming is 11-1 against San José State in Laramie, but the Spartans took all three games last season.
