LAST TIME OUT
At the UNLV invite, the Pokes set several personal bests and broke two school records to cap off the fall semester. The Cowboys finished third with 611 points while the Cowgirls placed fourth with 539.

Junior Tara Joyce broke the 100-yard freestyle school record with a time of 48.56 for a first-place finish, adding to her 200-yard freestyle record. On that final day of the meet, she would also anchor the 400-yard freestyle relay team of freshman Raiden Harris, senior Veronika Ozimek and freshman Rose Jones that broke the school record with a time of 3:18.15.

With Joyce's performance at the meet, she would win her first career Mountain West Swimmer of the Week award, Wyoming's first since 2021.

The men's team was led by freshman Jackson Kogler, who won two events and set four personal bests at UNLV. His 1:43.44 finish in the 200-yard backstroke was good for the No. 2 time in program history. With his efforts, he would win the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Male Athlete of the Week. Kogler is the second Cowboy to win the award this season and only the fifth-ever in school history.

With Joyce and Kogler both winning conference athlete/swimmer of the week awards, this marks the first time since 2021 that Wyoming men's and women's teams swept the award.
