LARAMIE, Wyo. (Jan. 11, 2026) – The Wyoming Cowboys return home to the Arena-Auditorium on Wednesday hosting San Diego State, who is currently tied for first place in the Mountain West for a 6 p.m. start. The Pokes are looking for their 10th home win of the season with the contest being televised on CBS Sports Network.
Fans can listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network with Keith Kelley on the call and Kevin McKinney on Color.
Free student-tickets are available for the game on Tuesday. Bring your student ID or proof of the schools you attend to receive a free ticket. The ticket is food for general admission in the student section and is available to all college, high school, middle school or elementary students. Wyoming heads into the contest with a 11-5 overall record and a 2-3 mark in conference play after falling on the road to Nevada on Saturday. The Pokes are scoring 84 points per game for second in the conference this season. UW is allowing 72.7 points per night. UW is shooting 48 percent from the field with the opposition shooting 44 percent. UW hits 8.3 triples per game with opponents adding 6.4. Wyoming averages 38 rebounds per game to lead the conference this season.
The Aztecs head into the game with a 11-4 overall record and a 5-0 mark in conference play. SDSU has won eight of the last nine games and sits in a tie for first place in the conference with Utah State. San Diego State adds 82.5 points per game and allows 72.8 per night. SDSU is shooting 48 percent from the field and allow opponents to shoot 40 percent. San Diego State records 37.6 rebounds per game and record 17.1 assists per game.

Wyoming is led in scoring this season by
Leland Walker at 14.5 points per game. He also adds a team-high 3.8 assists per game, which ranks seventh in the conference.
Nasir (Naz) Meyer adds 13.8 points per game this season and adds 5.1 rebounds per game. He is shooting 52 percent from the field.
Khaden Bennett adds 9.8 points per game and ranks second on the team with 4.8 rebounds per night. He ranks fourth in the MW shooting over 87 percent from the free throw line. He is second on the team with 41 helpers on the season.
The Aztecs are led in scoring this season by BJ Davis with 12.1 points per game. He is shooting 44 percent from behind the arc and is tied for the team lead with 21 makes on the season. Reese Dixon-Waters adds 11.1 points per game and also has 21 three pointers on the season. Miles Heide adds 5.4 rebounds per game to lead the team this season, as SDSU has seven players grabbing a least three rebounds per game this season.
