FORT COLLINS, Colo. (April 25, 2025) – The University of Wyoming track and field program looks to compete in a last-minute dual with border rival Colorado State, this Saturday, at the Jack Christiansen Track in Fort Collins, Colo.
The dual will be scored in a traditional 5-3-1 format with first place earning five points, second three and third one point for their respective teams in each event.
Action will begin at 10 a.m. with field events with the National Anthem at 11:55 a.m. to open track events.

OUTDOOR REFRESHER
With the indoor season in the rear-view mirror, outdoor track and field welcomes a slew of new events. You won't find events like the weight throw, 60 meters and 60-meter hurdles that were staples of the last few months. Instead, you will see Pokes excel in events like the 100-meter dash, 400-meter hurdles and the hammer throw. Here is a list of events you'll only see in the outdoor season.

LAST TIME OUT
Wyoming took on three meets in four days last weekend in California. At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Wyoming posted seven personal bests while four broke into the Top-10 in the program record book. In the women's 3,000-meter Steeplechase, senior
Rozlyn Slichko ran a time of 10:52.27 for No. 8 all-time. Junior
Jacob White finished with a time of 28:47.07 in the 10,000 meters for No. 3 in program history. Freshman
Hanan Aldelemy moved into 10th in program history with her time of 2:11.14 in the 800 meters. The last top program time at Bryan Clay was senior
Abigail Whitman finishing with a time of 16:30.29 in the 5,000 meters for No. 5 in Wyoming history.
The Pacific Coast and Beach Invitationals were highlighted by throwers. Senior
Allyson Fertig threw a personal best in the shot put of 47' 10 3/4" for No. 10 in outdoor history and the No. 5 throw in the Mountain West this season. Senior
Daniel Reynolds finished second in the weight throw with at the time a new personal best throw of 228' 9". Reynolds then went on to compete at the MT. SAC Relays hammer throw invitational and bumped up his personal best and school record to 236' 11". He now holds the No. 8 throw in the country this year. At the Beach Invitational, freshman
Charles LaFore finished second in a loaded hammer throw field with a distance of 213' 8" while senior
Cam Burkett finished in third in the shot put with a throw of 59' 1 1/4".
