COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 27, 2025) – Senior thrower
Daniel Reynolds has been named the 2025 Mountain West Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year, the league office announced Thursday.

This is the first time a Wyoming student-athlete has won the honor of track and field Athlete of the Year in the Mountain West.
Reynolds won the award after a record-breaking season in the weight throw. Not only did he win the NCAA weight throw title, sweep the MW throws events and complete an undefeated season, he also set the Wyoming, Mountain West and NCAA meet record with a throw of 25.08 meters.
