LARAMIE, Wyoming (2/27/25) – Brody Leid enjoyed the best finish of his young career during the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate this week. As a result, the University of Wyoming student-athlete was named Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Week.

Leid paced the Cowboys' scorers in Palm Desert, Carifornia, tying for 22nd at 213 (-3). He fired rounds of 73 (+1), 69 (-3) and 71 (-1). Leid holed a combined 12 birdies over the course of the three-day tournament.

This marks the second time this season Leid has won the award. He was also honored following his performance at the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational in November.
