Wyoming ended with six first-place finishes and 17 podiums at the Colorado Invite and New Mexico Team Open to start the month of February. At the Colorado Invite, two Cowboys, senior thrower Daniel Reynolds and junior distance runner Jacob White, set school records while several other Pokes made the Top-10 school lists. Reynolds once again extended his records with a weight throw of 79' 9 1/4" (24.31 meters) to grab the No. 2 time in the country this season and the No. 11 NCAA All-Time weight throw. White added his fourth school record across cross country and track & field with his record-breaking mile time of 4:00.46. At the New Mexico Team Open, freshman Taliah Morris excelled in her first 200-meter dash, winning the unseeded event with a time of 23.82. She also finished with a long jump of 18' 11 1/4" (5.77 meters) for sixth overall. On the men's side, Kareem Mersal had a season-best long jump with a distance of 25' 2 1/2" (7.68 meters), good for the No. 21 mark in the country.
