ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. and SEATTLE (February 13, 2025) – The University of Wyoming track and field program will be in two time zones as they look to compete at the Don Kirby Invitational at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M., while the distance crews travel to Seattle, Wash., for the Husky Classic at the Dempsey Indoor track, Friday and Saturday.
Friday in Albuquerque will begin with field events at 10:30 a.m. and track events at 2 p.m. On Saturday, all competition starts at 9:30 a.m. In Seattle, Friday will begin at 1 p.m. MT, and Saturday at 11 a.m. MT.

Wyoming ended with six first-place finishes and 17 podiums at the Colorado Invite and New Mexico Team Open to start the month of February. At the Colorado Invite, two Cowboys, senior thrower

Jacob White, set school records while several other Pokes made the Top-10 school lists. Reynolds once again extended his records with a weight throw of 79' 9 1/4" (24.31 meters) to grab the No. 2 time in the country this season and the No. 11 NCAA All-Time weight throw. White added his fourth school record across cross country and track & field with his record-breaking mile time of 4:00.46. At the New Mexico Team Open, freshman
Taliah Morris excelled in her first 200-meter dash, winning the unseeded event with a time of 23.82. She also finished with a long jump of 18' 11 1/4" (5.77 meters) for sixth overall. On the men's side,
Kareem Mersal had a season-best long jump with a distance of 25' 2 1/2" (7.68 meters), good for the No. 21 mark in the country.
