Cowboys Return to Action with Trip to Air Force on Tuesday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Dec. 28, 2025) – The Wyoming Cowboys return to action after an extended break, as UW heads to Air Force for a contest with the Falcons on Tuesday at 2 p.m. inside Clune Arena. It will mark the first road game in conference play for the Brown and Gold with Wyoming looking for their first true road victory this season.
 
Fans can watch, listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network with Keith Kelley on the call and Kevin McKinney on Color.
 
About The Teams
Wyoming heads into the contest with a 9-3 overall record and a 0-1 mark in conference play after falling to Grand Canyon in the MW opener on Dec. 20. Wyoming adds 86.4 points per game for the season and allow 72.6. UW shoots 48.6 percent from the field for third in the conference. Wyoming holds opponents to 42.3 percent from the field. Wyoming is led in scoring this season by Leland Walker at 13.9 points per game. He also adds a team-high 4.1 assists per game, which ranks fifth in the conference. Nasir (Naz) Meyer adds 13.3 points per game this season and adds 4.9 rebounds per game. He is shooting 51.4 percent from the field. Khaden Bennett adds 10.2 points per game and leads the team with 4.9 rebounds per night along with Meyer. He is second on the team with 35 helpers on the season.
 
The Falcons are led in coring by four players who average double figures. Lucas Hobin leads the team with 12.6 points per game. He has a team-high 29 made threes. Kam Sanders adds 12.3 per game and Caleb Walker adds 12 points per game and is second on the team with 4.9 rebounds per game. Eli Robinson adds 10.3 points per game and leads the team with 6.3 rebounds per game.

The Cowboys and Falcons will meet for the 128th time on Tuesday with the Pokes leading the All-time series 85-43. Wyoming owns a 37-24 mark on the road in the series with UW winning four-straight games.
