COLUMBIA, Mo. (Nov. 22, 2025) – Wyoming swimming and diving posted nine program records over the Mizzou Invite in Columbia, Mo., with five on the final day, Saturday.

SWIMMING
"This has been one of the most fun and successful meets in our program's history," said head coach Dave Denniston.

"Nine school records, countless best times and the Top 10 swim records have been completely overhauled."

Pokes' first record of the day was sophomore Isaac Lee in the 1,650-yard Freestyle, where he swam a time of 15:03.74. His first-place time was also fast enough for an NCAA standard cut.

Freshman Jackson Kogler added his first Cowboy record in the 200-yard IM. His time of 1:44.46 earned him first and entered him into the Wyoming record book.

Junior Simon Casey got his third of four record times in the 200-yard Backstroke. After a 100-yard record on Friday, he picked up the 200 with a time of 1:42.46 for third overall in the final.

Casey also added his name to another Cowboy relay record with the 400-yard Freestyle Relay. He was joined by freshman Jack Boysen, Kogler and sophomore Luke O'Connor with a time of 2:54.26.

The Cowgirl 400-yard Freestyle Relay may have one-upped the men with their record time and first-place finish. The squad of freshman Raiden Harris, senior Veronika Ozimek, sophomore Avery True and junior Tara Joyce won the event and touched the wall at 3:18.20.

Denniston made a point to say, "What I'm most proud of is how professional our team was at the meet in the way they conducted themselves as competitors and people."

On the environment in Columbia, Denniston said, "Our fans and team stood out this week not just for competing at a high level, but also for displaying great energy and positivity during every session."

"This is a meet we will all remember for a very long time, and the University of Missouri could not have been a better host."

DIVING
Saturday's dives were all on the platform, with three Cowboys making the final. The men were led by sophomore Jonah Mann with a score of 257.80. Junior Bruno Grau posted a point total of 256.70 and freshman Connor Liddle finished with 204.65 points.

On the women's side, seniors Alicia Gonzalez and Natalie Six finished with scores of 179.60 and 169.90 in the prelims, respectively.
