Cowboys Welcome Norfolk State to Arena-Auditorium on Sunday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Nov. 21, 2025) - The Wyoming Cowboys welcome the Norfolk State Spartans to the Arena-Auditorium on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Pokes are 4-0 at home this season, as UW opens a two-game homestand on Sunday.
 
Fans can watch, listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network with Keith Kelley on the call alongside Kevin McKinney.

About The Teams
Wyoming dropped a 78-70 road contest at Sam Houston State on Wednesday. The Pokes are averaging 86.6 points per game to rank fourth in the conference. Wyoming is shooting 46.8 percent from the field and holding opponents to 39.9 percent to rank third in the conference. Wyoming is shooting 35.2 percent from behind the arc and holds opponents to 24.3 percent. UW grabs 44.4 rebounds per night to rank first in the conference.
 
The Spartans host Hampton on Friday evening. Norfolk State is 2-3 on the season going 2-1 at home and 0-2 on the road. Heading into Friday night the Spartans average 78.6 points per game and allow 64.6 per night. Norfolk State is shooting 44.4 percent from the field and hold opponents to 37.8 percent. The Spartans are grabbing 41.4 rebounds per game and recorded 9.2 steals per night.

Wyoming has four scorers averaging in double-figures this season led by Nasir (Naz) Meyer at 11.8 points per game. He adds 4.2 rebounds and has 14 assists on the season. Leland Walker adds 11.4 points and leads the team with 4.6 assists per game. Damarion Dennis adds 10.4 points per game and is shooting 57.6 percent from the field. Uriyah Rojas adds 10 points per game and is shooting 64.7 percent from behind the arc to rank first in the MW.
 
The Spartans are led in scoring by Anthony McComb III at 15.2 points per game. He also adds five rebounds per night to rank second on the team. Devon Ellis adds 12.4 points per game and 4.4 rebounds and is shooting 57.8 percent from the field. Eliha Jamison adds 12.2 points per night to round out players in double-figures.
 
About The Series
The Cowboys lead the all-time series 2-0 with the first meeting coming back in 1997, when UW won 72-65 in the Casper Shootout. The Pokes won 84-42 in 2003 in the last meeting, which came in Laramie.
