Colorado Springs, Colo. (10/7/25) – The Mountain West announced on Tuesday that Alicia Gonzalez was named Diver of the Week after her performances at the Front Range Invite this past weekend.
 
This is Gonzalez' first diver of the week award of the season and the ninth of her career. She is now officially tied with Stephanie Ortiz ('07-'10) for most women's Mountain West Diver of the Week awards.
 
At the Front Range Invite, Gonzalez took first on the 3-meter with an NCAA Zone Cut qualifying score of 284.35. She also placed fourth on the 1-meter with a score of 241.90 and fifth on the platform with a score of 187.80.
 
Gonzalez and the Wyoming swimming and diving team are back in action Oct. 17-18 in a tri-meet against LSU and Air Force at the USAF Academy.
