Through the Air: Quarterback Kaden Anderson threw the ball 46 times against UNLV. That was the most since throwing 48 times against Texas State in 2013. Wyoming also completed 25 passes in the game, which is the most in a contest for Anderson and most by the Cowboys since the 2018 season against Wofford, as Wyoming completed 25 passes.

Getting to the Quarterback: The Cowboys recorded three sacks against UNLV. The Pokes had sacks at three different positions. Defensive end Tyce Westland added his first of the season as did linebacker Evan Eller. Defensive tackle Ben Florentine added his fourth of the season. The Cowboys now have 11 sacks on the season and average just over two per game. It was the most sacks in a game since having four in the season opener at Akron.

It marked the most in a game for the Pokes this season and was more than the previous two games combined. Wyoming averages just over four tackles for loss per game on the season.

Chisom on the Edge: Defensive end Chisom Ifeyani recorded five tackles for the Pokes against UNLV. It was the most in his time as a Cowboy and the most as an NCAA Division I player. He had six against Millersville when he played in the NCAA Division II for Shippensburg.

Thomas and Tackles: Safety Jones Thomas recorded a career-high tying eight tackles against UNLV to lead the team. He and Andrew Johnson his partner in the defensive backfield had 14 tackles combined for nearly a quarter of Wyoming’s tackles for the game.

Eller on All Three Levels: Linebacker Evan Eller did it all against UNLV. He recorded six tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, he also recovered a fumble and broke up a pass to lead the Cowboys. For the season, he has recorded 29 tackles on the season to rank second on the team.
