LARAMIE, Wyo. (10/3/25) – The University of Wyoming swimming and diving team wrapped up day one of the Front Range Invite Friday night.
Wyoming logged a pair of first place finishes in the men's and women's 500-yard freestyle, with
Isaac Lee going 4:34.04 and
Macey Hansen swimming a 4:58.59.
Jackson Kogler took second in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:51.92.
Tara Joyce turned in a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.20.
Edward Rhoe came in third in the 50-yard freestyle, going 20.86.
Raiden Harris finished third in the 200-yard backstroke, swimming a 2:03.86.
Simon Casey swam a 1:50.99 in the 200-yard backstroke to take first place.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Joyce came in first with a time of 50.01.
Lee turned in another first-place performance in the 200-yard butterfly, logging a time of 1:52.37.
The Cowboys took second in the 400-yard medley relay with a collective time of 3:20.67, entailing of Casey, Kogler,
Adam Pannell and
Luke O'Connor. Cowboys also came in first in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:22.46, swam by Pannell, Casey,
Jack Boysen and O'Connor.
The Cowgirls, comprised of
Veronika Ozimek, Harris,
Ella Lesnever and Joyce, finished second in the 200-yard freestyle relay off a time of 1:34.53.
On the diving side of things,
Alicia Gonzalez had a first-place performance on the 3-meter board where she scored 284.35.
Jonah Mann took third on platform with a score of 262.50.
The Cowboys currently sit in third place with 479 points while the Cowgirls are also in third with 352 points.
Wyoming swim and dive picks back up with day two of the Front Range Invite tomorrow morning with diving starting at 10 am at the Air Force Academy Cadet Natatorium and swimming kicking off at 11 am at DU's El Pomar Natatorium. Day two will be live streamed
